I'm so glad I didn't know ahead of time how hectic January was going to be, or I would have been dreading it for a long time! We had 3 out of 4 weeks at preschool at our house (lots of fun, but busy), Parker's Birthday (combined with preschool made that one easier:), James' Homecoming (the highlight of the month), and Cole's mishap with the tree.
Here is Parker with that fun preschool group! We managed to pull off his requested pirate ship cake, and he had such a fun time having his friends over for the big day. It worked out great because Cole (after his accident) was home from school, and Russ had a couple of hours with no patients... so we were all able to be there for the celebration. And who would have guessed what a big hit a little box of bendaroos would be for a group of preschoolers! Those TV ads did them well!

Great cake! I love that I recognize some of his friends from our visit. Can't wait to be closer.
