Back to our Warm January...

We had such a great time spending the holidays in snowy Utah, but I must admit - I really enjoy the Florida winters! I will really miss this weather when we move this summer. Just after getting back home to Jacksonville, we took a fun little hike at the Arboretum - a park where our ward did a big service project last fall and helped build some bridges. The boys love hikes more than just about anything! It allows us all to get outdoors and the boys can expend some of their pent up energy.

Our next January event was Parker's 4th Birthday! Hooray Parker! We needed to get some work done on our current biggest trial - the condo in South Florida we may never sell - so we spent Parker's Birthday at Jen and Doug's house. The kids had a great time with their cousins... looks like they're ready for some mischief! They actually play very well all together and don't get into too much trouble...

Sadie's Baby Blessing

It was nice to be around family for the blessing of our first little girl, Sadie Anne. What a wonderful day!

Here we are with Russ' parents.

And with my parents.

And with Kurt and Amanda. Thanks for switching off taking care of her the ENTIRE time we were in Bountiful! What a nice break! Sadie misses you!

The Trapnells...

Here are a few more shots of the Trapnell clan.

Holidays in Springville...

We all had a great time with Russ' family in Springville... the annual white elephant party (I ended up with the lovely his & hers toothbrushes - thanks Krystal!), the girl's lunch and movie, the boys' snowmobiling trip at Brian's cabin, the yearly New Year's Eve party at Chris & Sheri's house, and new this year the most amazing breakfast ever at Brian and Susan's. Of course the kids favorite part was the endless playtime with Damon, Allie, and Kyla! Sorry for the lack of privacy! We sure had fun though!

Mason's favorite part may have been mom & dad's new dog Tina Marie! Mason loves to throw a ball more than anything, so he spent countless hours throwing Tina's ball and squeeky toys and she brought them back to him time after time after time...

Also new this year, Russ went with his brothers to the Jazz game and had a great time.

We loved church on Sunday at the MTC where Grandpa Trapnell is part of a branch presidency. The kids loved seeing all the missionaries! Unfortunately, Parker was so happy looking around outside that he failed to notice a big chunk of icy snow in his way and wiped himself out in the parking lot.

First time sledding!

We took the boys sledding for the first time at Oak Hills where I went to elementary school. They had a blast! We didn't know how long they would last without boots, but they went outside to play in the snow nearly every day and only came in when we forced them for fear of frostbite on the toes. That is for everyone except Mason who doesn't like to be dirty and somehow felt that having snow all over him made him a disaster!

Bowling...

We had a great time bowling the day after Christmas with Kurt & Amanda, Kurt's brother Brett, and Doug, Jen, Dallin, & Brooke!

Holidays in Bountiful!

Okay, we've got lots of catching up to do... sorry for such a long post, but we had so much fun and don't want to leave anything out! We started our trip with my family in Bountiful. Here are our kids with the Chisholm clan...
